Prior to establishing the firm, Pat held senior positions in the personal financial planning groups at Bank of America and Price Waterhouse. There, he was a member of the leadership team of the Price Waterhouse Investment Advisors—the first affiliate of a major accounting firm to register with the Security and Exchange Commission as an investment advisor. In addition to consulting with senior executives, Pat has conducted hundreds of seminars to groups of employees of major corporations including AT&T, Bank of America, Chevron, and International Business Machines. Prior to joining the firm, Betty was a high school mathematics teacher from 1999 to 2009. From 1976 to 1984, Betty was with Price Waterhouse in both the audit and tax departments rising to the level of manager in the International Advisory Tax Services department. She began her career at Price Waterhouse in their International Advisory Tax Services. There she gained a keen knowledge of individual taxation at an early stage of her career. Kim later spent time working in private industry before joining Hamel Associates in 2000. Kim is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs, as well as the New Jersey Society of CPAs. Prior to joining Hamel Associates, Chris worked in public accounting for over 17 years in the tax department of two mid-size firms. She began her career in the tax department of a Dallas firm where she gained experience in oil and gas and real estate taxation. Chris later became a tax manager of a St. Louis firm specializing in individual and small business taxation. She earned a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Evansville. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs. At Seton Hall University, Josh majored in Finance and Business Information Technology Management with a minor in Economics.
